Winnipeg Grade 7 students design Nestaweya River Trail warming hut


Grade 7 students in Winnipeg have brought fresh creativity to the city by designing a warming hut for the Nestaweya River Trail. Working together, the students transformed ideas into a functional design that offers shelter and comfort to winter trail users. The project gave them hands-on experience in architecture, teamwork, and problem-solving while contributing something meaningful to their community.
